Writing has been a lifelong love, touching every aspect of my life. I've worked as an RN for over two decades, much of it as a nurse case manager, gaining extensive knowledge of health systems and the vital role of communication. I put that expertise to use writing appeals for a large health system crafting written arguments for revenue recovery. As a breast cancer survivor, I experienced the patient side of healthcare and launched an inspirational blog. Breast cancer gave me the gift of clarity. I lost the illusion of "someday" and pursued my dream of becoming an interfaith minister. I'm now an ordained Interfaith Minister. My passion is writing non-fiction and blog content. I believe every moment contains beauty, strength & wisdom. I love holding life up to light to let the gifts shine through. My stories have appeared in Philadelphia Magazine, Beliefnet.com, multiple editions of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Nobody Loves You Like Your Kids, Nursing Spectrum and many other outlets.
